DOWNTOWN LAS VEGAS
Professional Artistry. Underground Ethos. Owner-Led.
We are the Arts District’s home for custom tattooing, built by artists who value the craft over the corporate machine. Rooted in the original 18-block footprint of DTLV, we provide a relaxed, highly-attentive environment away from the high-volume pace of the mass-market shops.

THE 18b ETHOS
Built in
the 18-Block Zone
18b was founded on a simple premise: a tattoo shop should be run by the people who pick up the machines. We’ve stripped away the tactics of the corporate shops and the assembly-line atmosphere.
When you walk into 18b, you’re in an owner-led space where the ‘underground’ ethos isn’t a marketing slogan—it’s how we work every day. We are here for the collectors, the locals, the traveling enthusiasts, and anyone who values the history and culture of Downtown Las Vegas’ storied tattooing legacy.

The Consultation Pillar
Everything Starts with the Conversation
At 18b, we don’t just “take orders.” We pay attention. Our staff are amazing listeners and expert tattoo consultants who understand that a great tattoo is the result of a clearly understood vision.
Integrity Over Quotas
Our guiding principle is built on honesty. We believe every tattoo deserves the best possible execution. If you come to us with a project that would be better served by a specific specialist at another shop, we will tell you—and we will make that recommendation without hesitation. We would rather send you to a trusted colleague to ensure you get exactly what you are looking for than keep you here and give you anything less.

I’ve been with her since she’s been an apprentice and she’s genuinely so amazing at her art. At the moment she is working on my half sleeve and after every appointment i get even more excited to book with her. (in attached photos she did not do the tiger but she added the beautiful flowers and flowers lines) My boyfriend has also been tattooed at 18B from Thomas and did an amazing job. He is so knowledgeable and talented when it comes to his traditional pieces. It’s beautiful to watch him freehand each piece of his.Posted on Kyra LumTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I’ve gotten all my tattoos from Krystyn at 18b Tattoo, and I honestly wouldn’t go anywhere else. Every time I come in with an idea, she takes it and turns it into something that feels personal and really well thought out. Everything she’s done for me has come out super clean and healed great. She’s the kind of artist who really listens to what you want, but also knows how to make it better. The vibe is always relaxed and comfortable, and you can tell she genuinely cares about her work and her clients. I trust her completely and will keep going back for all my future tattoos🖤Posted on Bianca HernandezTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Endy is my tattoo artist here. Awesome shop, very clean and professional! I have three tattoos from Endy and plan on getting more. His script/lettering and shading is perfection. I highly recommend him :)Posted on Luciano MalvadoTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I have had nothing but amazing experiences at 18bin!! Krys has done a handful of my tattoos and she always makes sure you are 100% on your design and will make changes as necessary to make sure you’re satisfied. She creates a calm and welcoming environment that makes getting tattooed seem like a breeze! She also checks up on you after your appointments which I think is so sweet! I couldn’t recommend Krys enough!! She is talented and truly one of a kind :)Posted on Graciela Salazar LetscherTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Walked in on Saturday with a group of friends, 3 of us got some flash done. Great shop, good prices and frankly exceptional vibes. Would definitely come back. Big thanks to Endy for putting up with all of us for like 4 hours of his life.Posted on Celeste WeeksTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We were a group of 4, with three of us getting tattoos. All walk-in’s. It was an Instant welcoming environment, such a cool vibe, and super clean. Endy was our tattoo artist and he did a stellar job. Created great art for each of us based on our inspos. His line work was incredibly clean, and his attention to detail was amazing. 10/10- I recommend Endy & 18b Tattoo to anyone!Posted on Susie BairdTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Got my first larger tattoo done at 18b Tattoo and had Tyson as my artist. I had requested a Polynesian tribal style tattoo with different types of flowers incorporated into the design. I preferred fine lines as opposed to bold, and Tyson delivered exactly that! The design he came up with was beautiful, and he paid great attention to detail. The flowers look so realistic and I loved the meaning behind the tribal art. I highly recommend this studio if you’re looking for a high quality and thoughtful piece.Posted on Jessy KesselyTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Olivia created my DREAM tattoo. She is incredibly talented, a skilled tattoer, and honestly blew away my expectations (which we're already high because Ive been following her work for a while and knew already that she's a heavy hitter). She expertly synthesized my reference photos and was collaborative and supportive of my ideas, while providing spot on advice, which led to some pretty amazing art. Precise, professional, kind, and easy to be around, Olivia made the session fly by and I walked away with my biggest, and most beautiful tattoo to date. 12/10 would recommend

FAQ
Prices vary based on size, detail, placement, and the artist’s hourly rate. We provide quotes after a consultation or when you send a clear reference.
We accept both! Walk-in availability depends on the day and artist availability. Appointments are recommended for larger or custom pieces.
You can book via our website, Instagram DMs, or by calling/texting the shop directly. A deposit is usually required to secure your spot.
Stay hydrated, eat a solid meal beforehand, avoid alcohol or blood thinners, and wear comfortable clothing that allows access to the area being tattooed. If you like to read and it isn’t inconveniencing the artist, bring books or headphones to listen to music, podcasts or whatever youd like.
Bring a valid ID (you must be 18+), reference images if you have them, and cash if preferred by your artist. Snacks and hydration are also recommended especially for longer tattoo session.
Yes—but pain tolerance varies by person and placement. We aim to make your session as comfortable as possible but please understand that the pain is part of the proccess and is only temporary. Pick the place you want based on what you want and not what you’re afraid of.
Most studios allow one guest, but it’s best to check ahead—especially during busy hours. Space if very limited and its honestly very boring for your friend so if you can manage coming alone then that is recommended. Just make sure your guest follows shop rules, is kind, courteous and considerate of other patrons and artists.
Like most downtown areas parking can get pretty competitive. We are on a less busy side of the district so it helps but we are not immune to those problems. There is street side parking infront for the entrance at $2 an hour. Across the street on street parking is $1 an hour. And the parking lot across the street is usually $14 for the day and 20 bucks during events.
Artist & Design FAQs
Absolutely. We can tattoo your design as-is (within reason or the artists discretion) or help refine it to work better as a tattoo.
We can use it as inspiration, but we prefer to create custom work to avoid copying another artist’s work exactly.
Based on size, detail, placement, and time. We’ll give you a ballpark or hourly rate once we discuss your idea.
Yes! Our artists often have flash sheets available. These are pre-drawn designs at set prices and can be made available on request or by coming into the shop and seeing for yourself.
Healing & Aftercare FAQs
We’ll provide you with full aftercare instructions. It typically involves keeping the area clean, moisturized, and avoiding sun, soaking, or scratching.
This is normal! Don’t pick at it. Follow your aftercare instructions, and it will settle into the skin beautifully.
Avoid swimming and heavy sweating for at least 2 weeks while your tattoo heals.
Many artists offer free or low-cost touch-ups within a specific time window—just ask during your session as it varies artist to artist but we do stand by our work and will make any corrections on the house. Make sure to specify with your artist what qualifies as a touch-up and what their polices are.
