Kiwi Burt
Kiwi Burt is a Las Vegas–born tattoo artist with deep family roots in New Zealand—hence the name “Kiwi.” Through his father’s side, he developed a strong connection to Polynesian art and culture, which directly informs the work he does today.
Burt specializes in freehand Polynesian tribal tattooing, creating fully custom pieces built from mixed Polynesian patterns and motifs. Each design is developed to reflect the client’s story and values while honoring the tradition behind the visual language.
His process is intentionally hands-on: the design is drawn directly onto the body so it fits the form correctly, flows with movement, and remains truly one-of-one. Burt’s goal is to carry a traditional art form forward in a contemporary setting—bridging heritage and modern life through meaningful work made to last.
